Do you realize the power your words have in the life of those around you? Our words have the ability to lift people up, tear them down, shrink their perspective or expand their horizons.
With that in mind I’d like to issue a challenge to you today. With the couple of minutes you might have spent reading this blog post I want to challenge you to pick up your phone and shoot a text or email to someone you lead.
More specifically, I want you to take a moment and leverage the power of your words to call out some value that they bring to your life and/or your community. Tell them what they might or might not know – that they are making a positive impact in some way. Go speak words of affirmation and encouragement into the life of someone you know today.
