One of my favorite things about serving in the local church is the opportunity to invest in people. As leaders we invest in people in a number of great ways – and often times my posts speak to different habits or thoughts about investing in volunteers.
Here is a simple reality – your ability to invest in someone is tied to your ability to relate to them. (click to tweet) If you take yourself too seriously people will have a hard time connect with you and relating to you.
That is why I love serving at 12Stone Church, because we know how to have fun and not be too serious.
